GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the PAT director or other supervising physicians, performs and records admission histories and physical examinations; assesses and assists in treatment of patients in PAT under the same supervision. *All supervising physicians have been approved by the Ohio State Medical Board under the utilization plan submitted to the Board of Lakewood Hospital.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Must have passed the national certifying examination and can be registered to Lakewood Hospital by the Ohio State Medical Board

Required Length or Type of Experience
* Graduate of a physician's assistant program which is accredited by the state PA association

Required Licensure or Certified Registry
* Accredited as a basic life support provider
